  Welcome to Alvin Smith State Farm Agency!  I started my career with State Farm in operations in Monroe, LA over 35 years ago.  The operations experience gave me the foundation for understanding the details behind the  State Farm organization.    Each day as I visit with current and potential customers as their State Farm Agent, together we develop a relationship where I discover and help them understand their insurance needs.  

In the office we are here to provide accurate, free and fast insurance quotes for all of Arkansas. Over the years, I have received several accolades, including Bronze Tablet and Ambassador Travel. I received my Bachelors in Construction Management from Grambling State University.  In addition, I have a Master’s in Education which I achieved while working in Student Affairs at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  I’m also a member of the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce.   

I am married to Elnora for forty years.  We are proud parents of our son, Vincent, who is a Minister in Louisiana, and our daughter, Alyse, who is an Academic Adviser at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  We are the proud grandparents of one granddaughter.
